About
Bran’s Book explores the trials of being a teenage girl, through the lens of quantum mechanics.
Stream-of-consciousness journal entries are interrupted by scientific and philosophical musings. In the beginning, Bran asks herself:
‘So, which boy am I in love with this week?’
and what ensues is a fierce interrogations of the ‘I’ in that question, as she challenges, not the attributes of the ‘boy’, but instead the whole concept of ‘the self’.
She effortlessly cites great thinkers such as Tom Robins, Krishnamurti, and Einstein in her jumping-off-points and brings her unique perspective and understanding to their works.
This is Bran’s manifesto: humorous, reflective, and unapologetic.
